Hey everyone. So basically for poker, there’s a thing called heads up. Well, there’s multiple tables with different buyins, an online site has them, pokerstars. Anyways… the tables are like this. 2$ 4$ 8$ 16$ 32$, etc. I’m a pretty good poker player, so the odds are more on my side, than just 50/50. But let’s just pretend no skill is involved. So let’s say 2+2=4+4=8+8=16+16=32+32=64+64=128+128=256+256=512+512 = 1024. So if I won 9 times in a row, starting with a mere 2$, I’d have 1k. 1/2 chance to win, so just keep adding the bottom part of the fraction of 1/2 right? 1/2-1/4-1/8-1/10 etc. So the chance to win 9 times in a row is 9×2=18 1/18 chance So if the odds were correct, and it was a 50/50. You’d have a 1/18 chance to turn 2$ into 1k. Is that correct? Dang. See, I knew it was too good to be true. But it just doesn’t make sense. You know? Either way each time is 1/2 chance. Think of it like this. There’s a 2 person 2$ table, chances of winning is 1/2. Winner gets 4$. Then you have a 4 person 2$ table, chances of winning is 1/4. Winner gets 8$. 1/2 1/4 2+2=4+4 So basically from what you’re saying… if I wanted to win two times in a row like that… 1/2×1/2 = 1/4*2? ____________________________________ Okay so let’s see… The chance to win two times in a row with a 50% chance each time is: 1/2×1/2=1/4? Same as needing to beat only two people in a 4 person table heads up. Now let’s say I want to win three times in a row. 1/2×1/2×1/2=1/8 chance? I would think it would be 1/6. However… If playing 6 people in a heads up tourny, you’d have to beat three, and would only make a 12$ profit. 1/8 would be 14$ profit. 2+2=4+4=8+8=16+16 1 2 3 4 Would a chance to win a 6 person 2$ heads up tourny, where each person plays another, and after you lose, you’re eliminated, be 1/6? You’d only have to play three others.

I asked this question before and like half the people said I was crazy. Mostly because I have been seeing it in poker non stop, though in other parts of my life to. But since I play online poker a lot, that is where I see it most. I get three 6’s like all the time. I will get at least one three of a kind 6’s a day. And you may say that 3 of a kind is not hard to get. Maybe so, but getting 6 every time is. That, and I know I am not just singling out 6. Because I don’t get 3 of a kind of every other number everyday. Just 6. You may say its coincidence. But the first hand I received playing texas hold em was 3-6. So I decided to go all in based on the fact that I will probably get tripp 6’s. So I went all in and caught the full house with 6’s over 3’s. Then the next hand I got. It was pocket 6’s and I went all in. And caught a 6 again to win it. If its just coincidence. Why do I always get three 6’s? And if 666 is not evil. Even so, why am I still getting it? Like, why? I also get 777 a lot, but not nearly as much. P.S. I also see that other people get it a good amount. And 66 is by far the most common pair I see come out on the board But the odds of me getting 3 6’s twice in a row are like the same as winning a small lottery. Man people are stupid. I understand the concept of when you think about something, you see it more. What you are not taking into consideration what I am seeing is like playing the lottery and winning all the time. Is it possible to take into consideration the odds before I get an answer? As general of Satan’s army, will I receive fringe benifits such as health insurance? Will it be full coverage? And also, will it include dental? Geezah. You received your doctorates from? Why would they want the game to throw out a bunch of 6’s? Also, the same was happening in real life poker, so what are the odds in that? Also, i quite clearly understand the concept of, when you think about it, you see it more. I have experimented with it. The difference is. I am actually looking for other number combinations in hope of other numbers will come out. I have a very good memory,unlike most people. So I know what comes out. And on an overall scale. Approxmitly half of the three of a kinds I get are 6’s. So how does this happen? Does this just mean I am lucky and should play the lottery? I have seen several people asking the same question and based off the responses I have a list of over 20 cities that are all nice. So I would like to narrow down my list by giving specific details about me and what I am looking for. Financially I make just over 10k USD a month, and based off the info I have gathered that should be enough for what I am looking for. First and foremost, I do all my business online, so the most important thing for me will be use of the internet and high speed internet. I am going to need a strong internet connection that never goes out. Here in the states I have two different internet connections, due to the nature of my business. I am also aware of the blackouts, so buying a generator should solve that issue. Second, I am young and enjoy the nightlife. I will be spending my nights out and about majority of the time. So being close to a city will be important (Within 1 hour driving commute). I am aware of the traffic conditions over there and will have a live-in chauffeur, that is why the commutes will not be an issue with me, afaik. So nice Clubs, Bars, Theaters, Restaurants, Casino with a nice poker room, and big mall would be nice(not really nightlife though). Third, beaches, I would be willing to commute up to an hour and a half for a very nice beach, of course it would be nice if I could get all of the above right off the beach. Fourth, I am looking for a private golf club, that I could be a member of that would be within an hour commute. Again would be nice If I could find a place on the course right next to the beach. The house type that I am looking for is, 4 BR+ 4 BTH+, 2 Car Garage+, 270 sq m+, separate maid and driver quarters. With a pool. In a guard gated area. I am not looking to be directly in the city, wouldn’t mind being in a more secluded area, some may say the suburbs.(might be a problem with internet). Being within 2 hours of an airport would also be nice. I will be traveling a lot. Everyone’s opinions and input will be greatly appreciated.
